  3. A spinning water meter after the main is closed. Shut the main valve at the house, then watch the meter’s leak indicator dial. Any movement means water is escaping between the meter and your fixtures.

  5. Low water pressure throughout the house. Pressure drops when volume is escaping before it reaches your fixtures.
